So i've somehow thrown out my back. Lower back spasms, etc. really sucks basically a lost weekend. Ice and rest and lots of tv. And muscle relaxers.

It was a problem sometimes. We did have weight standards so that helped.

Dept. chairs don't make enough to justify the hassle. Deans make decent money, but from what I can tell, the job is mostly cutting budgets, attending meetings, and dealing with a bunch of annoying crazy people you can't fire because they have tenure. Also, deans have to work during the summer. And I think they have to wear ties and shit.

Driving the kids out to nerd camp this morning.

So, we had my daughter baptised today and then a little party at my house afterwards for my family. I live in a PUD, so we don't have large yards and my driveway fits four cars so we had to park on the street. Someone parked in front of my next door neighbors house, their drive way fits four as well and there was one car in it. As soon as we parked someone in the house opens the door and starts yelling at us that we can't park there because it's "their spot" so I say it's a public street there's no "spots" and then she starts screaming at me, so I just told my wife's aunt to just move her car and after she did the neighbor kept bitching at me, saying that we aren't allowed to just park whereever we want and so on and so forth, she was being really really obnoxious, following me into my yard so I turned around and told her to relax and take walk, and then she threatened to call the police on me and tell them that I hit her. I didn't even come with in five feet of her I was just trying to herd my family's back into my house at this point.
Now these people frequently have parties and get into fights in the middle of the night in the street and are always cursing and yelling at one another, I've never said or done anything about it. I'm not sure what to do at this point, I don't want any trouble with these ass holes, we are moving out of here next June 100% so I gotta live here for a year more, I've been thinking of going over there and apologizing just so we don't have any trouble with them, but the other part of me wants to just start callIng the cops on them everytime they act up.

people who bitch about street parking really are the worst. my friend had a neighbor who would threaten to call the cops on him for it all the time and he basically just tells her to b/c he's not breaking any rules.

I don't understand why anyone would call the cops for these such events. My hole life I never called the cops, and I hope I never have to. Fucking resolve it yourself, people. But you got to end this right now, Bill McNeal. Everybody needs to start shutting down these type of people. Obviously, there are no assigned spots on a public street, but that's not the point. The point is that she will find a new way to complain about you and her neighbors because that's the type of person she is. This is evident through the fact that she lied about you hitting her in order to get what she wants. Do not let this bitch get what she wants. We have enough of those people in the world.

Honestly, I think you're crazy if you don't call the cops and report what happened, particularly the threat part. First, she threatened you. Second, if she ever does call the cops and say you hit her, you'll have this on the record. Seriously, you need to get this on file with your police dept. Seriously.
