Staying in Renton, but moving from the Highlands to Talbot Hill, which is south of downtown off of 167. Almost pulled the trigger on a house share in Capitol Hill, but just not ballsy enough to do it.

I also almost moved to Newcastle, but it was an odd situation where the people trying to leave the apartment could never find time for me to meet the roommate who would be staying and they gave some really odd and vague descriptions of the guy.

1BR are outrageous compared to 2BR and 3BR. the value in having roommates doesn't seem right.

I'm paying $725/mo for the crappiest 1 BR I could find in the cheapest Seattle suburb. My friends in the same town are paying $810/mo for a 2 BR that's in a complex that's nicer and has a pool and a hot tub. It's really ridiculous. I just couldn't justify living alone in a 1 BR anymore.
