Thanks for the replies everyone. So, what wound up happening, I was content to just drop it for the time being and wait for the next time they're out there acting like ass-holes, but my brother in law stopped for gas on the way home and a cop happened to be at the gas station so he went up to him and told him about all that happened, so the cop asked my BIL to call us and we chatted on the phone for a few min. and he wanted to come by my house to check up on us. I explained the whole thing to the officer and he gave me his card and told me to call him if we have any more trouble with them. Turns out that the cop lives the next street over in our development and he'd heard a few things about those people next door to us through the grapevine. He told us they inherited the house from their parents, I thought they were married, but apparently it's a brother and sister that live there and the parents were assholes and the kids are assholes.

Since all this has gone down we haven't heard or seen them at all. They are usually outside being obnoxious and just generally carrying on most of the time, but since our dust up and subsequent visit from the police we haven't heard a sound out of them. So I'm hoping that this is all over now, I'm still pretty pissed about all this. I mean, it was pretty jarring to have all this go down in front of my parents, in laws, and about 25 other assorted family members/friends as we are getting home from church over street parking in a residential neighborhood. It's just so damn crazy to get so pissed about parking in front of someones house when they have a drive way and a garage, it just makes no sense what so ever to me. Just park in your fucking driveway you god damn idiot.

even without the driveway and garage, people bitching about someone parking in front of their house are fucking idiots unless it's like a private paid spot or something. the only exception i can think of is if you're handicapped. if you're not, go fuck yourself
