they gave me some 9/11 government bs about not being able to do it online a few years ago and haven't really asked since. maybe it's because it's an international wire?

Careful with those offshore accounts in tax havens. Make sure you file your FBARs and 8938s.

Well look at that shit.

To send a wire transfer, please visit a Wells Fargo location. We cannot accept wire instructions through email or fax because your signature is required and must be witnessed by a representative of the bank.

After sending your initial wire, you can initiate other wires over the phone. To initiate wires by phone:
Complete a Wire Agreement at the branch and order a personal identification number (PIN). Your PIN will arrive by mail in 10 to 14 business days. You will use this PIN to initiate wires over the phone.
If you send wires to the same account number regularly, ask a representative at your branch for a Repetitive Wire Code. Your code number will arrive by mail in 10 to 14 business days. You will use this code to initiate wires over the phone. For each transfer, only the dollar amount of the wire may change.

There is a fee for sending a wire transfer. For details, please refer to your Consumer Account Fee and Information Schedule or call us at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).

If you are sending a wire overseas, foreign currency wire transfers are available. Please visit a Wells Fargo location for details.

Wachovia got busted in a multi billion dollar international money laundering thing a few years back. Drugs and Mexico stuff. They were doing no due dilligance at all on these transfers so maybe that's why they require the extra verifications now.

that just reminded me... if the guy (attorney/friend) who set up my account and does my taxes ever dies or goes to jail, i'm totally fucked. and it's not like i have all that much money there either. the only reasons i do it... so he would stop selling me on the idea and telling me how stupid it was that i don't have one and it sounds kind of cool.

I'd close it up now. There's no point and the compliance and tax reporting requirements are fairly extensive and growing.

Yeah, I'm gonna take the job. Probably would only have to work 45-50 hours a week. It would probably be a 15-20 percent raise.

In other news, Slurpees are the tits. Haven't had one in about 2 years until today. Might have to make this a monthly thing.

used to get slurpees about once a month my senior year in college. we used to go get them after some intense tennis matches so it made me feel less bad.

I always go for the Cola flavored Slurpee. I also almost always go for the rootbeer Rita's.

thanks for the advice... because i'm close to that point and yeah he has been talking about some changes we have to make. granted there are individuals out there that are experts, and maybe it's just that i'm a borderline control freak, i at least have to have some working knowledge of pretty much any decision i make in life. some of the stuff he does is just way above my head, but for the past few years, i would say he has done well for me, but it has become a little more uncomfortable as of late.

why do the flyers and sixers both have to suck? a ranger or heat win would have been nice.

Coke Zero and Diet Coke are essentially the same thing, but Coke Zero sells way better with men than Diet Coke.
