It is. And at random times other than just rush hour, as well.

I kinda feel it's a reverse commute though. I really wouldn't rule out a trip to Conshohocken if the job's right.

It's always slow, for a highway, but it's not awful.

so i've had this current 401k for one full year. didn't roll over anything into it. i've managed to contribute and invest a little over 12k. my YTD returns is at 12%. pretty good for 1 full year of investing.

If you're sticking to a technology company, pretty much Western Suburbs are it. Used to be the 202 corridor ("Philadelphia's Silicon Valley"), but Conshy is sneaking into the mix.

Hmmm. Sounds like Philly might not be an option for me. I dont have the temperament for that much driving. I've lived between 1 minute and 10 minutes from my job for the last 4 years. I don't know if I could go back to the alternative.

While it's better than the opposite, it's almost always a pain in the ass getting in and out of the city. Luckily I work 8:30 to 4:30, which helps

My wife did that commute for like 5 years and didn't go insane. If you can get a place with easy access in the city to either Kelly Drive or 76 it can make it much better. We lived on 24th and Locust at first and then moved to 20th and Fitzwater and even though that was only like 10 blocks further, that extra city traffic annoyed her. Living by the Art Museum would probably be the best spot for that.

That's good advice. The worst part of my commute home is between the museum and Queen Village, fighting the Jersey-bound traffic

Tempted to move out to 23rd and Locust or thereabouts but I do like my neighborhood, overall

that fitler square/center city west/rittenhouse area is pretty much the only place i'll move into in philly. need that quick on ramp to 76 to not make any commute into delaware miserable.

Those are pretty much the neighborhoods I've narrowed my apartment search down to.

Frustrating game for Spurs. But the good guys could win out in the end. Lots to talk about.

Bolton goalie guy must be pretty good though, yeah?
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can
