I was wondering how things unraveled so quickly for me last night, then I remembered I didn't have anything to eat after about 2 PM yesterday

Fiance's mom wants us to get married in the Catholic Church. The idea of a marriage in a church is kinda cool despite my hatred of the Catholic Church, but apparently have to attend some bullshit ass weekend camp to validate we're cool in the eyes of the church? Plus they want letters of recommendation? This is such garbage.

Yeah people who don't want to do that don't get married in the Catholic church

Make it has fucking air conditioning, though
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Youseff, I'll do the wedding in a Lutheran church. They won't know the difference.

I'm working out of the parent's office today. There's a 5' x 4' picture of some over dressed woman with big hair. Apparently she's the "leader of the religious movement [they] belong to." I'm very confused as to how this reconciles with Catholicism.

Believe me, I don't want to get married in a Catholic Church. I'd gladly get married in a Lutheran Church if it meant less nonsense, but I don't think I have a choice at this point.
