Do we have an art thread? Van Gogh Up Close is definitely worthwhile. Also, if I were 25 years younger and worked at the Museum like Housh, I don't know how I would ever get any work done. There's an absurdly high number of fine looking young women there, all looking their best.

the picture thing does drive me nuts. at museums and concerts and things as well. it's the worst in New York

there are high quality pictures of this thing readily available on the internet, but you want your very own fuzzy iphone picture. I don't get it. I see a lot of people who don't even look at the art, they just run through snapping pictures of everything, like they're gonna look later I guess

I saw a Zoe Strauss photo that reminded me of Twombly. "Cy Twombly Sucks " wouldn't be a bad art thread title. I searched for Cy Twombly to see if maybe he had already appeared in an art thread and came across a post by me from 2007 that I have no memory of doing. 2007 was a long time ago.

That's four random thoughts for the price of one.
