I had my NoFX kick a few months ago. It was sandwiched by an ongoing Dillinger 4 kick. Blows my mind that I listened to do much pop punk circa 1999-2001 and never listened to D4

yeah i'm the same way. i came to the conclusion though that during that same time period, i was making so many discoveries of bands that i've loved for years since then it prob would've been impossible to fully appreciate them at the time anyways. you can only absorb so much in a given time, right?

while i do like STWB, its prob from a nostalgia perspective rather than current leanings, outside of a few songs. 'twisted by design', 'the element of sonic defiance' and 'an american paradox' round out their prime, imo.

I can still get down with All My Best Friends Are Metalheads and Jonny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts. Saw LTJ and Bad Religion once, had a blast for LTJ and fearfully hung in the back for Bad Relihion

It's called "Mermaid," and it's a gloomy retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. I haven'ty read it, to be honest, but I think it's supposed to be an interesting retelling of the classic. It obviously caught someone's eye.

Oh, maybe a link would be better...
