I'm a fan of the lower level ends just becasue of proximity. You do really only get to see one end of action, albeit pretty damn close and, depending on the section and row, you see most of what goes on on the other end.

If it was baseball I would say between the bases regardless of how high, but in basketball I think it important to be close rather than have a balanced view of the whole court up high.

As an addendum to wishing my siblings had more money, I should clarify that me having more money so I could do something cool like buy my parents a new computer would also work

My smoke/carbon monoxide detector started chirping a few days ago. I figured it was a low battery noise because it wasn't flashing or making too much fuss. It was pissing me off so I took out the battery. Just put in a new battery and the carbon monoxide thing started wailing after I hit test. I took out the battery and put it back in, and now it's not wailing after the test. I don't think my apartment is full of carbon monoxide, but if I die, tell my folks I love them and I'm sorry I was too lazy to do more to check.

Yesterday Citypaper's Meal Ticket blog posted about this place Chinatown Express that delivers river to river from Vine to Federal until 3 a.m. every night and 4 on Friday and Saturday. It's apparently a one-man operation and he makes Chinese food and pizza and stuff. I'm so excited

I called the guy last night and he didn't answer. He texted me back today apologizing. He didn't know the CP thing had run already and he usually closes early on Mondays. See you later dude
