HPQ laptop, $233. Dual core, 2GB, 320GB HDD, Win7 pro 64 bit.

Was thinking about picking one up just because I want to do a 64 bit compatability test with a few esoteric devices I have.

I'm not invested in any brand names - but persistent or chronic immuno-inflammatory illness is quite real and proven. One of the symptoms for many is some level of fatigue or loss of mo-jo, or energy or motivation.

It's not that I don't think that there's nothing wrong with those "diagnosed" with those conditions (well, some of them anyway). It's just that they are "diagnoses of exclusion". They become a catch-all and, as a result of the lack of definitive physical characterisitcs, people get labeled with this "diagnosis" by default, and some even use them as a crutch.

by the way, my infectious disease doc (extremely highly regarded in his field) is much more forceful than I about this, particularly regarding chronic lyme. He basically spits on that diagnosis.
