I wish there was a terrible, well produced Youtube for a ridiculous song about the Giants like the "Do the Mark Sanchez" thing

There are a bunch of loud belligerent drunks in my apartment drinking more, and about to wertz. On most nights, I'm fine with this, if not thrilled with this. Tonight, however, is not one of those nights.

You carry your SS card around with you in your wallet?

yeah. had it in there for some reason and i guess i never took it out. like i said, i'm almost sure it's in the car, but i have no way of knowing until monday morning.

Visual confirmation between the driver's seat and door when I checked this morning. Whew.

possession of someone else's social security card is about as useful as possession of your own ss card.

The thing by itself compromises 100% of nothing regarding your privacy/security.

Why are people so woefully uninformed about such things?
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Well, in this scenario, the finder would also have Kev1n's legal name, address, and OLN by virtue of his driver's license. All THAT could be a recipe for ID theft. Thankfully it is found.

i could just make it out through the windshield. i had to look a few times to convince myself i was seeing it and not the seat adjustment lever or something else. for once it paid off to have the obnoxious stars and stripes discover card.

yes, though we might still be lacking an oven/cooktop/hot plate (and power source for same), eating utensils, or diners.

and NOT having lost these useful documents all in one place is indeed MUCH better than the alternative.

I believe information security/privacy issues are important. i believe none of us - and more worrisome, few of our institutions - give them adequate consideration, which makes our behaviors about them largely a matter of ritual, rather than reason.

There's really no reason to regularly carry your SS card around with you. One of the few times someone might ask to see it is the I-( employment verification or a driver's license application and possibly a marriage license application. You know when you might need it to take along with you.

Otherwise, if you lose your wallet, you have the possibility of the above scenario.
