Sassafras is the only other palatable spot on that strip. Sugar Mom's is cool but I can't remember if they have TVs

I think Sugar Mom's has one TV, but it's in an awful location. Khyber sucks ever since they changed it. Maybe try Mac's tavern? I watched a little bit of the World Cup there a while ago and saw Ryan Dunne, Mac, and Sweet Dee.

Plus, Mac's has $2 PBR pounders. (I think the same as Sugar Mom's.) Plus, they have pretty darn good food.

yeah I guess just nut up and deal with Lucy's Hat Shop but why are you confined to Old City. I don't like that hood in general but it's the worst possible one to be in on a night like this. every place will be PACKED with people pretending to give a shit about the game

Went to get an oil change, was told I should probably get new tires, which I knew I had to do soon. $30 trip turning into $650. Shaping up to be a fun day. At least nothing else important that might disappoint me is looming.

Buffalo Billiards is my favorite place to see a game there. Feel like it's relatively cheap for the area and pretty underrated crowd and TV-wise. Pretty decent jukebox too

If you have to be in Old City, Race Street Cafe is good. Get there early and you'll have a bar stool in front of a big TV. It doesn't hold that many people, so it won't get crazy packed. Good beer and food as well.

Good call on Buffalo Billiards. Mad River, next door, will be a shit show. Charlie's was good but is now closed.

I like the Khyber, but it's small as SHIT and there's only two tvs, both of which are crammed into the tiny ass bar area

Go get some beers and food at Eulogy Tavern before the game and the walk next door to Buffalo Billiards.

I have an affinity for the Khyber since they got their hands on a shit load of mirror pond after deschutes came into town for philly beer week

I'm at my folks watching the dogs for the weekend cause they were supposed to go visit my sister in Vermont. Instead they got rear ended on the Parkway near Newark. They're fine, but the car isn't so I might get to drive back up north and get them. It's a good thing I have nice new tires now. My dad's sister lives like 10 minutes from there. Hopefully she gets them and they just stay there tonight. The NJ Turnpike northbound looked like a disaster because the truck lanes were closed. Today's going pretty well so far.
