we had a fight here at work where this happened. everyone wanted stupid things on the pizzas, me and another guy wanted pep, i got back from grabbing some napkins and it was gone.

I prefer pizzas which other people who are good at making them make them for me.

I once made mini pizzas with pretzel rolls from Wegmans. They were the shit.

Crazy drunk last weekend. We ended up doing maple syrup on pepperoni pizza. Only way ill eat it now.

GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. I was just a part of a fucking online ticket fiasco. Louis CK is doing two shows tonight at the Bell House in Brooklyn. Tickets went on sale at 10 AM today but there was a "waiting room" line that started forming way before that, though I didn't know that. Still I got past that to the screen where I could select and purchase. But all it would let me do was choose how many tickets I wanted. Nothing else on the page loaded. And then I was booted back to the waiting room. So damn frustrating to come that close.

Whenever I get my hair cut, there is one barber there that sucks. So most people wait for the 2 good guys. It is always awkward when he asks "Who's next?" and nobody responds.

oh man, I was hoping you said it was a woman cause then I'd think we went to the same place. last time I went there, there was about five guys waiting but I brought so figured I'd settle in, then this is woman is just like, "Hey, you want next?" I didn't compute what happened until I was in the chair

awkward is when...

the place you regularly go to has this chick barber a couple of days a week that is really good. well it's not really a place you can just peak into but on one of her regular days she is not there and there is some old guy. unlike yourself, i didn't have the heart to turn around and i desperately needed a cut. well, it sucked!

fast forward a couple of months later and i see she is back. she asks me why she hasn't seen me in a while and i told her i guess i missed her the last time. i continue to tell her i got some old guy, and well i didn't quite put it in these exact terms, but i told her he sucked. well, that old man was her father. that was an awkward moment to say the least.

I once saw this guy literally jog out of the shop when this one lady came to the desk twenty minutes to closing. Now I know why, she lawnmowermanned me.

the prep work can be a bit of a pain, especially if you choose to make your own dough. i think the key is to make everything from scratch and using quality ingredients.

here is my favorite...

1. toss and stretch the dough relatively thin, not quite ny style, but definitely not dominos/pj/pizza hut thick.
2. brush on a liberal coating of olive oil.
3. dice up roma tomatoes and mix in some diced garlic and cover the dough.
4. cover with real 100% mozzarella
5. top with basil (occasionally, i'll add onion + peppers)
6. bake... and if you don't have a pizza stone, definitely get one.

btw... yeah worked in a few pizza places while in school.

i dated more than my fair share of hairstylists. i think they all hated their jobs. however, when they were drunk they always wanted to cut hair. we would go to after hour parties and if she had some tools, she would be cutting someone's hair. actually, i think they pretty much did their best work when they were totally loaded.
