I go out near half moon bay 4x a year - it's beautiful.

But why there vs. san fran proper? I know you lived there for a while, did you not like it?

I can safely report Egg/Cheese/Pepper bread from Marchianos is like real good.

I work in San Mateo now, used to work in the city and was able to walk to work. I like being in a small town and not having to deal with the hordes of homeless in the city and I'm less than a mile to the ocean. Plus living outside the city means I have a yard and a car and don't have to pay or struggle to find parking. Close enough to the city with a wonderful drive up the coast that can't be beat. I figure if my place was in the city proper in a decent neighborhood, it'd be going for a thousand more than what I'm paying here.

I might bake some bread next weekend. But I don't think it will be either pepperoni bread or pepper egg and cheese bread. It will probably just be a french type bread.
