Bill McNeal wrote:I put in a request to work from home permanently and it was approved today. I now work from my house, this is awesome for several reasons:
They will pay for my phone, internet and if I swing it right, cable as well so I can watch the Phills
My location is now no longer Wilmington, so I won't have to pay ~$100/mo in wage taxes anymore
No more commuting expense
My car, which I paid off recently, will live longer since it's at 150k miles
Also I get $1000 to setup my home office.
With the car paid off and all the savings from working from home, I'm looking at like an extra $800/month, at least, in the budget.

wait, what
Enough.
I've had a run of very difficult, trying days... and the last thing I needed was to sit down this evening to people mocking serious analysis, calling other people "nerds," etc.
If you don't like the fact that we occasionally talk about serious statistical analysis on this board... stay away from those threads, or stay away from the board entirely if you must. But don't post the kind of crap you will find in this thread. Worship of ignorance is not welcome here, period.
This thread is locked. If you have a problem with that, PM me.
