Granted the article says they worked together, but that was 9 years ago, I'm a nobody, and I've had at least 3 different cell phone numbers since then. The obvious answer is they just do a -Brad Pitt or -Chris <3 Pronger at the end of their texts, but if that's the case then this leaves them wide open to getting fucked with. Maybe there is a secret phone list, and they match the numbers up against them to see who it is, or maybe it all just goes through publicists and agents and whoever the fuck else. I don’t' want to believe that, I want to believe that Chris Pronger is typing his own text messages on his own motorola v.60.

Maybe a lot of this stuff is done through agents. Brad Pitt calls Bam's agent, inquiring into the number. Then the agent tells Bam to expect a text or phone call from Brad Pitt.
