The beach is really wide, freakishly so. Some South Jersey beaches are always expansive, but here it's usually much narrower.

The ocean is also very calm at the moment. It makes one feel less guilty about swimming drunk in it in the middle of the night.

anybody have shoe-shining tips? Got my wedding haircut yesterday and folks will be pouring into Allentown tomorrow. Guess I should work on my vows. Two days of freedom remain. Tonight is my fiance's tame bachelorette party - maybe she'll call the whole thing off.
