I feel like there's always a 10 percent chance for a fight to break out. When you combine my friend's absolute hatred for cherry pickers (to the point where he tracks them down and shoves them almost every time) and my snide comments, I'm surprised we never got into a big fight.

Should I have my man card revoked for watching Cher's Shoop Shoop Song three times in a row? It's oddly mesmerizing.

I respect both of your opinions and support your rights to express them but would like to unequivocally state you both are completely insane and possibly inhuman.

If Wawa were a publicly traded company, I'd buy its stock in a heartbeat. They have raised the bar on what a convenience store should be. Their hoagies are not world class, but they get the job done. The stores are clean, efficient, and well stocked. They have raised the bar on what a convenience store can be.

But have they raised the bar on what a convenience store could be? Or would be? How 'bout might be?

The few times I've been in one they always struck me as exactly like Sheetz

Just out of curiosity (assuming the BSG PSU'ers have), anyone been to Sheetz? Obviously Sheetz menu is more extensive, but I love Wawa.

This was a hotly debated topic in my glory days at Dear Old State between the Yinzers and the Yousers.

I like Sheetz as well, but the only Sheetz stores I've patronized were big interstate truck stops.

Really? That seems like saying you like Hardee's then getting pissed when someone says they like Carl's Jr. Either way, I stop at Hess stations because they have Dunkin Donuts coffee.

It is my understanding that Wawa and Sheetz have a basic non-compete agreement in this area. I think Sheetz would love to infilitrate this area, but the Wawa brand loyalty is very high among the citizens.

Sheetz's mega store is a sight to behold and about the only thing worth seeing in Altoona for that matter.
