I do actually care about this, though. I still think Fighting Irish is...what's the proper word, ethnocentric? I guess? It is. And Bloomberg's "joke" is just an exaggeration of that. And if an Irish politician had made a similar joke about Jews, he'd be vilified, and rightfully so. And it's fucking bull shit.

Will be a very fine line to walk. Don't want to hold onto power too long, but opposition groups have been so beaten down by the regime that a rushed election may lead to a really messy outcome.
