Happiness is a RANDOM THOUGHT

There's a relationship virus going around or something. Geez, Meat, you're the fifth person I know this week to go through that. (Not that I know you well, but hell, we sat next to each other during the game until angry old dude snapped to security about karn).

I'm so, so sorry you're going through this. I echo what phdave said. One of my friends had his wife leave after she had him pay for both gastric bypass and breast implants. He reacted by getting right back into a relationship with someone else, and that ended horribly (also to note that girlfriend looked suspiciously like ex-wife, but that's neither here nor there).

Hang in there. Have you considered the Lehigh Valley? Close to Philly, relatively close to your home, at least you could find some college girls in Bethlehem. 8-)
Together we will win this game against the evil Space Yankees! Eat Fresh!

Sometimes I have a strong urge to move to the middle of nowhere, like Wyoming or Montana or something. SK, how's North Dakota treating you?

You guys rock.

Thinking of heading up to the city today to do a little recon. Gonna try Bella Vista, Queen Village (and south of Washington) for now, but I appreciate all the suggestions, and will check them out in due time.

This is all going way too well so far. We get along, talking frankly about finances and logistics. The emotions are in check for the most part. However, the Bill James and MattS part of me knows there will be a regression to the mean, and it's bound to get worse. I just hope by then I've found a steady stream of 19 year-old bj artists (or failing that, a really cool PS3 game) to distract me*.

*I know it's stupid to jump right into a relationship, but Wiz made it clear that fellationships are acceptable.

I've always been torn about the song "Brick" by the Ben Folds Five. On the one hand, the song is beautiful. On the other hand, given the subject matter, I've always found something about the attitude of the song to be fundamentally selfish, almost repugnantly so.

I'm not a big fan of the scene there, and it's probably noisy as hell

I think you just described Ben Folds' entire point in making it
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Really? I've heard him talk about the song and I've never gotten the vibe that he thinks it's about trying to show what an a-hole he was. He usually talks about how it was a "difficult time" and such, but I don't see a lot of self-criticism there. More like, "Woe is me."

But maybe I'm wrong.
