i said that to my dad, too, but he raved about how comfortable they made everything. Went in there to buy a good suit when he was going for promotion and said they were just really nice and helpful. So I feel less intimidated now.

i think he told the guy what he wanted and the dude brought out a five-suit range from 400 to 1200. he rolled with the 800.

not as cheap as Men's Wearhouse but better quality

pretty sure it was a "special occasion" type thing. he was going for Lieutenant which would have pretty much paid for the suit. forget if he got it that time or later but he eventually made it.

Today I am wearing casual dress shoes, white socks, Haggar jeans, a Haggar short sleeve shirt (dangerously close to a bowling shirt), my hair is long and my beard is beginning to get a bit unkempt. Basically I look like it's a friday after I skipped a trip to the laundromat due to snow and that I just don't much care anymore. Which is pretty accurate really.

What about Jos Bank? I've found them hit or miss--their cheap dress shirts are cheap, but I've been happy with the suit (jacket and two pairs of pants) I bought there.
