Today was the first time in about 3 weeks we got into the double digits here. Not complaining, I actually think that's awesome.

Hah, she accepted my condolences.

Also the Coach K interview about LeBron confirms my thoughts that K should have been the sportsman of the year last year.

On a full-day basis, I think so

if you boiled it down to one day or one or two hours WFC night probably wins but the parade day was just the happiest i've ever been over a 24-hour period, probably

I could probably write a whole book about the day. Jesus.

You talking about the columnist today who renounced all pop music and then decided he was a snob but didn't even know what being a snob was about?

That day was, coincidentally, one of the most frustrating days of my life.

Couldn't go to the parade because no other TA would cover my class.
One of the TAs was supposed to make it up to me with a CHORCH and introducing me to a fine young lady, but instead bailed on his own party.
In the end, my friend who went to the party with me got laid and I had to take the bus home alone.

SHOULDA celebrated better.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't dismiss the awesomeness of the parade, since I was unable to be there and watched from my desk in DC in an office full of depressed people who knew we were going to get obliterated in the elections that were taking place in a few days.

It was real bad. I stopped reading it.

I mean I enjoy my fair share of tunes nobody has ever heard of, but goddamn you are missing the point if you can't get down with Gaga...

I forgot how crappy that would have been had I still been taking classes. That was when I was bouncing at Tony's just to make rent money 'til I moved back home, and I was actually already supposed to miss work Friday night to go see Of Montreal at the Electric Factory (making it part of those 24 hours, coincidentally). After the Game Four win I decided I had to get home. Wasn't missing that thing for the world. So I begged my boss to let me miss an extra couple days of work and make it back Saturday. He did, I jumped on a Greyhound, got pissed they didn't finish Game Five the first night, got nervous when they postponed it a second night, and then celebrated for two days straight after Wednesday night. I got so goddamn lucky. If it had gone six games, I would have missed it and wasted my whole week.

This is old so it is possible it has been posted before. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at some of these.

I've seen some of these before, recall that the Tarzan vid made me lollerz.
