This is what I would have done from the start at my old job. However, getting a package delivered to the Naval Academy is not that easy. Packages go missing here all the time.

now isn't that ironic. dontcha think.

If you call Dell again, you might be able to get them to instruct FedEx to hold it at a depot instead of sending it out for delivery, then you would go to pick it up.

I suppose I could try this. And while it'll suck driving over an hour to the FedEx facility, it might be better than ending up in the POD because I questioned them on taking my second laptop.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

On a related note, after telling the situation to some people at work here's the scenario I've put together...

When we moved in in August, an old lady came from that house and introduced herself. She said she owned the house with her sister who just died 3 weeks prior. She told us she lived there with her son and her sisters son(s). They were trying to decide if they should sell the house or not.

We never see anyone from that house, except at night. The sons (late 20's I'd guess), are always out at night with friends. About a month ago, a POD was delivered to their driveway. We hear them throw things in it...again, only at night.

I haven't seen the lady since August. I'm now convinced that the guys have killed her and thrown her in the POD. And to top it off, stole my laptop.

Because the Snooze Bar sounds awesome, like a place somebody would do an acoustic set at. If it was called the loser button, people would be more ashamed to use it. Bottom line is it's a device that lets you sleep attached to the top of a device whose soul purpose is waking you up.

A rabbi, a lawyer, and a priest are on the Titanic. They rush to the lifeboat and as they get in, the rabbi says, "What about the children?"
The lawyer says, "Screw the children!"
The priest says, "Yes, but is there time?"

While we're back on the subject of snooze buttons, this relatively cheap clock radio I grabbed from Walmart is easily the best alarm clock I've ever had. It has an internal Li-Ion battery to keep time in power outages, comes preset from the factory, automatically adjusts for daylight savings time and the snooze time is customizable. So much better than the one I used to have which was almost identical to the one in Groundhog Day.

Prediction for tomorrow morning. I set my alarm for 9:30. It goes off. I reset it for 10:15. I hit snooze three times. I wake up and shower. I dick around online until 11:15. I read one article for my Pol Psych paper before I decide I deserve to go to Chipotle. All of a sudden it's 1:30 and I've done a half hour's worth of work on my day off. Then I'll post on here about how unproductive I've been.

Judge Will Allow Jurors to See Video of 8-Year-Old Being Killed by Uzi at Gun Show

....The authorities say that Christopher shot himself in the head while firing a 9-millimeter Micro Uzi at the October 2008 Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo in Westfield, Mass. He was accompanied by his father, an emergency room doctor.

William M. Bennett, the Hampden County district attorney, said the father had chosen the gun for his son to fire because it was smaller — something that actually made it more dangerous and harder to control.

on trial is the sponsor of the event - a moonlighting local police chief.

inexplicably, this region of Massachusetts encompassing Westfield is not located in the deep South
