uh...what a mess. i still haven't left for boston. i got smashed after the phillies lost. while walking home i sent some drunk text messages that go completely against the d.e.n.n.i.s. system to my sister in law's cousin.

it's an uphill battle from here.

So glad I shut my phone off and put it in my bedroom after the game yesterday. Saved my social life a lot of damage. Got a couple of bait texts last night from fans of various other teams from people at work.

Ironically, it was the lone Mets fan at work with the only, "tough loss, sorry, etc" type text.

To some extent even lamer than straightforward mocking

A bunch of midgets are playing basketball and they gut the ball wedged between the backboard and rim. That was this weekend for me.

I don't care if this makes no sense.

I didn't see it until you mentioned it here. Honestly, if there were a thread about me with my name in the title in the Back She Goes forum, I probably still wouldn't have seen it.

Also, I don't think I could possibly remember which person posted what, and then apply it in a future thread (if that makes sense). The only joke I could apply to another thread would be about Calvin Ball's mom with maybe one or two more like that.

Congrats on your strong memory, and thanks for the shoutout.

Cole Hamels would've just completed the eighth inning of his two-hitter had the Phillies capitalized last night.

It's a shame. We'd only be down 1-0.

I'm probably wrong about this, but it seems to me there's a difference between "hipster" and "weirdo". If someone says so and so is a hipster, I'll have a definite expectation regarding how they look, dress, and so forth (though again I might be wrong, or at least 5 years behind the times) but for weirdo, I would expect anything.
