was supposed to work at 8 today, got a text from one of my bosses saying, "come in at 1." so i go in and as i'm pulling up, my other boss calls me saying, "yeah no one else came in, just go home."

AWESOME.

at least the 3rd or 4th time they've done this. i'm only ok with it b/c of vance worley and yes.

Ugh, had my first series of requests to miss the lab I'm TAing. The two bereavement requests seemed a bit suspicious, but I took them at face value and sent a "form" response telling them it was okay. After looking into this, the girls are friends from high school and it was the father of one of them. Now, I feel bad about the "form" response (especially considering at least one is a big Phillies fan).
