I admit to not paying attention to the standings as well as I should the past week or two. I recently got back from vacation, have terrible jet-lag, and I have not been keeping up (before I left, they were well out of it). 3.5 behind the Braves and 2.5 behind in the WC is certainly not insurmountable. Oswalt is still not the pitcher I would go to, even to make a playoff run. From all accounts I've read about, he has not been the Oswalt of old this year, is demanding a lot of $$, while Ed Wade and the Astros are cornering us into overpaying in prospects. I think we could do fine enough without him, and believe we may regret this trade one day in the future. Sorry for the blunder.
