the thing about that commercial that gets me is...why does the announcer need to tilt his head to a 45 degree angle before every sentence?

Whenever I read our possible lineup in a Sixers thread, and then the subsequent commentary:

Holiday
Turner/Williams
Iguodala/Young/Nocioni
Brand/Speights
Hawes

Solid lineup right there. We need a backup point, and hopefully Turner develops into a stud.

I gloss over it and read it as

Santana
Pelfrey
Perez
Maine
any 5th guy

If we can just fix Ollie and pick up an innings eater (Garland maybe?) to be the 5th starter, we'll have as good a starting rotation as anyone. And when Pelfrey pitches like Halladay, we'll have a dynamite 1-2 punch that will be unstoppable in a playoff series.

Red delicious, by contrast, are teh suck. But, apparently, they used to taste better.
