yeah, that's certainly a factor. Plus tampa bay are obscene right now.

But the key is the actual commentary. baseball is great for late night proofing, unless you're listening to that team's equivalent of t-mac. In which case I get no work done and quietly seethe, because I can't post on a message board about how random radio colour guy is SO FUCKING STUPID.

I don't know if anyone else will find this funny, but I really enjoyed this fictional conversation between Bjork and Marina Abramovic.

Three weeks late, my first garden in three years is planted. Twenty square feet of corn, cukes, peas, beans, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, basil, pumpkins and flowers.

I've already got more cucumbers and jalapenos than I know what to do with. My tomatoes are getting big, but they're still green, and I have japanese eggplant that's growing really really fast. The climate down here makes me think I'm good at this stuff.

Some fucking kid has been screaming... and I mean SCREAMING... at the top of his lungs across the street somewhere from my location on and off for at least half an hour. I have half a mind to grab a tire iron, go over there, and give the little pissant something to scream about. Jesus Christ is it irritating.

By homemade do you mean you started with whole tomatoes and went from there? That is impressive.

Fuck pasture raised, he better have harvested those himself. And not from one of those topsy-turvy dealies.

Yeah, my Dad was boasting about his first harvest a couple of months ago, it seems... He's on the other side of SC...

I had it planned all winter to get this thing planted three weeks ago, but BabyVox has been sick the last two weekends, and I was sick that first weekend. I was still having allergy problems last week, but I sucked up and finished digging out where the garden would grow (started that about six weeks ago), and got it half filled with dirt.

Only on BSG, apparently. Maybe if it had happened in the United States...

Of course, Philly had a policeman shot this morning, and there's a trial wrapping up of another case where a cop was shot and paralyzed and died later (the question is whether the shooting caused the death), so local news may be a little preoccupied.
