House hunting AND planning a wedding? I don't envy you.

We don't have to be house hunting, but we thought we'd give it a shot while the tax credit is still good. And I also said we would look with the stipulation that if we didn't find something by the time the summer rolled around, I was done looking until after the wedding.

We're okay renting where we are now but once the "having a family" stuff starts, we'll need to move. But we're finding that it's rather difficult to find 3BR/2BR, one-floor (or mostly one-floor) living that's not in a 55+ community. So like I said, we're not in a rush, which is turning out to be a very good thing. This could take a while.

But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

The best argument for living together before you get married.

We bought our first house before we got married, but we didn't live together until after we got married. I should say that I technically bought, but we picked it out together. We didn't both own it until we re-financed before VoxJr was born.

I would say that is a difficult house to find. I know one person with a house like that, although the second bath is now a 3/4 bath (formerly a half bath). It is on a good lot, which would allow for expansion.

I gotta house like that. Well, it's a bath and a half. But I'll let you have it for under 100k. Hardwood floors, mostly, carport, nice yard. My wife and daughter tell me the guy who lives across the street is hot. (His wife isn't too bad either, but I keep my mouth shut about that.)

Ah, bummer. If it were two full baths you'd have yourself a deal.

Can't beat Fish Balls but there's a place two blocks away from me called Wok City Yummy Taco. It's a Chinese/Mexican place. One side of the menu looks like the typical Chinese menu, the other side a typical Mexican menu.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

Man, what did I ever do before Hulu? Almost entirely removes the need for a DVR, and it's free.

Is your boss Michael Scott or David Brent by any chance?
