Does anyone have any experience with internet radio stations? A few friends and I are going to start one, and are looking at the various sites now. The leaders right now are live365 and loudcity

I listened to live365 about three times five years ago or so, and I am still getting emails -- on a different account than I had then -- from those jerks.

I watched games 1 & 2 of the 2008 NLCS at Caesar's sportsbook. There was plenty of seating, but I seem to recall the big projector screen having a terrible picture. There were a lot of smaller plasmas/LCDs all over, though.
Another day, another box of stolen pens.

I have to get this under control. My solitaire is cutting into the time I spend aimlessly flipping through tv channels.

The biggest Sportsbook in town is actually at the Las Vegas Hilton, which is off the strip but has a monorail stop. The other benefit of that place is that they are loose with the free drinks. At the Wynn for instance, you get two drink tickets for every $100 in bets. Vegas Hilton just requiring that you have bets going, doesn't matter how much, and keeps the drinks coming.

Know anything about the Palms Sportsbook? I've never been there. I'd prefer to be somewhere on the strip but this is what the bachelor wanted. We have a 2-BR suite which is pretty pimp, and probably a little gay, though

Talk about a weird song association. Whenever I hear Better Than Ezra's "Desperately Wanting" (I remember running through the wet grass... falling a step behind...), I remember a mix tape I put together.

I remember I would have my fingers poised (pointer finger over the play button, middle finger over record), and whenever a new song came on the radio, I would instantly hit play. Upon hearing the opening chords, I'd realize it either was or wasn't a song I wanted on my mix. If it wasn't, I'd quickly rewind to find the exact conclusion of the previous song (before the DJs started jabbering) before the current song on the radio was complete. Good times. I remember Desperately Wanting occupying the last 30 seconds of one of my mix tapes. I didn't want 30 seconds of blank tape. Thus, whenever I hit the 30 second mark of this Better Than Ezra song, I expect the tape to stop.

There's a report this morning about a bill before an N.J. Assembly committee that would require officers to indicate, by ticking a box, whether and how a driver involved in a crash may have been distracted. Box choices include, "hair grooming, eating, changing the radio, reading, attending to a pet or using a fax machine." The bill would prevent insurance companies from raising a policy holder's rates based on such a checked box.

while they're getting absurdly specific, may as well take it further: - sending? receiving? changing ink cartridge?

startled that there's no 'self-pleasuring' check box

House hunting has got to be the most frustrating experience EVER.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "
