Between it being the first garbage collection after Christmas, the massive melting of snow, and gale force winds this morning, it was the perfect storm for litter being everywhere in my neighborhood today. Balls.

I picked up trash and recyclables for about a half hour this morning, it was a total disaster
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Obey the strong winds, but non-existent precipitation associated with a clipper!

We forgot to put out the trash last night on account of the drinking. It will be interesting to see what happens by the end of the week when the can is full.

I've done this more than once. If it were Arkansas in the summer, it might be a problem. But given that your trash is likely frozen, you should be ok.

My dad was trying to convince me last night that I needed to take a bag or two out, throw it in the trunk, and take it to the dump today. I pointed out that taking garbage out of the can and putting it in the trunk of the car was really gross. He said tough shit and to do it anyway. I think he's really concerned about getting it done before my mom realizes he forgot to put the trash out. There's room for 1-2 more bags in there anyway. I'm not going to the dump today.

Does 1 "airline mile" actually translate to one mile of travel?

Depends. If you have a card to accrues airline miles when you travel on an airline, then yes, you earn 1 airline mile per mile of travel (more or less). However, to redeem those moles for a ticket, you need to accrue usually 25K miles (or points) for 1 free round trip domestic ticket (usually worth no more than $450 dollars or so, depending on the fine print).
