I was at a district high school wrestling meet a few years ago, and there was a one-armed kid in the 103 or 112 weight class. Not sure if he had won before that season, but he beat his first opponent and had the biggest smile on his face. Just a really nice moment.

I could really go for some nachos with guac.

Also I'm on a real long drunk streak. With tomorrow being Saturday and going to my cousins for the Giants game Sunday, it feels like it will continue for at least two more nights. I guess I didn't drink Tuesday, but I've gotten drunk Thurs (Jersey Shore), Sat (Saturday), Mon (Giants), Wed-Fri. This is like a when I used to live in DC run. My brother is 9 for the last 10. That's something.

Also also, real glad Liverpool's boxing day game isn't till 17:30 GMT. Yay sleeping in.

Jerseyhoya--you mentioned wanting good guac.....

In the "salad" area of grocery stores, sometimes near the refrigerated salad dressings, is this pre-made guac, I think it's called "holy guacamole", it's awesome, and I'm kind of a guac snob. Tried it once in desperation when I needed guac for an nacho-appetizer I was building to take somewhere, and there were no soft avocados.
It's packaged in two heavy plastic bags, bound together with a cardboard wrapper/box without sides.

I'm making some today. I found a recipe that's really tasty and fairly easy to make.

Aah, the major December insanity is over. I'm recovering by staying in pj's until it's time to get ready for a friend's Christmas party tonight.

The fun wake-up drunk is done and the hangover has set in. 2.5 hours away from a Christmas party to start it up again. I can't wait to stop drinking for a few months.

I don't think there's a hard guacamole recipe. Except probably those chicks who wrote the silver palate cookbook could probably come up with one.
