When I was hoping for someone to make up a trade rumor this morning, I was thinking something with a bit more flair than us signing some commie

used to be academics couldn't write in a horrible, garbled, fuck-you-up-with-50-subclauses way whilst making up new words in german that even german philosophers have never heard of before. And I could live with that, really.

Now though, it is apparent that they just can't write.

what ARE they teaching them in school these days?

Esquire's article about good boxed wine made it seem like you could just pick this stuff up anywhere. PLCB blows.

Hey. I can say with confidence I've never made up a German word.

We tried some out, Black Box, it was OK. Our local liquor store has a boxed wine section, and it was pretty picked over yesterday, with just the Franzia selection packed full.

Hey. I can say with confidence I've never made up a German word.

When I had a beard over the summer my dad decided to start growing one because, having been a cop for 20-some years, he hasn't had one since before I was born.

He looks like Santa Claus now. It's awesome. He was at Lowe's today and some lady was their with her kid. The kid just stared, eyes wide and mouth open. I find it pretty hilarious. Santa Claus--he goes to the hardware store! He's just like us!

I use more semicolons in my writing than any lawyer since the mid-1800s
