Wake up Saturday morning with a bit of a hangover and watch Liverpool turn in a pathetic performance, have two people sent off, send the future of their manager into further question, piss away all the good feelings from the win over the Mancs last weekend, and more or less put the final nail into their chances of winning the title 2.5 months into a season that ends in May.

Phillies jump out to a 3-0 lead. Feeling good. Cole's dialed up a bit of his old magic. Then a walk that wasn't, a home run off a freaking camera, a 5th inning meltdown drizzled with bloops and curses, and a run an inning allowed out of our pen to make sure Werth and Ruiz's best efforts don't even make things a little interesting.

Giants fall behind 13-0 less than four minutes into the fucking game. Eli can't do a thing right for the second straight week. The embarrassingly bad secondary continued to be embarrassingly bad, with a new wrinkle on defense thrown in of allowing really long runs.

I should just go to bed.

I got a parking ticket yesterday for parking in a bus zone. I clearly was outside the giant X marked zone and took a picture to prove it. But I guess there's nothing I can do about it except pay the 51 bucks.

I've gone to the parking authority and had a ticket dismissed. It was rather easy, actually. It's quite a bit different from moving violations in the city. I once went down there when I had a lead pipe cinch win, since the cop didn't know the rules....and guess what?? Neither did the judge. He said I could take it up with common pleas if I so desired.

Now I'm not talking about any kind of a judgement call at all. Straight up rules.

I would say I should have just gone to bed, but that feeling when Feliz hit that homer was pretty fucking incredible.

The worst part about tomorrow is I'm at least one and probably two drinks away from falling asleep, so I'm not going to feel normal till mid-late afternoon. Going to be a brutal hangover.

At least I didn't make the buffalo chicken tenders last night. A buffalo chicken sandwich will rescue me tomorrow.
