dude, just so you know, Merrymead Farms was an apocalyptic scene last weekend. People were parking 1/4 mile away and walking. Gridlock traffic. I'm probably too late with this news, but good luck, and godspeed

Not too late yet. You're the best

The quantity and quality of woman walking around the last 2 days has been mind numbing. I love Halloween.

Why the hell does Word and Google docs default to pasting things in with their old formatting? Who ever wants that?

Dear BSG- If you were offered the same job in either New York City or San Diego which would you prefer?

Depends on whether you prefer your hot chicks half naked and perfect or dressed in all black and jaded
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

San Diego's weather is second to none. People are always smiling and saying hello to you. Oh, and Mission Bay rules.

NYC speaks for itself, I suppose. I live in NY and love everything about it.

9-12 Phillies road games a year instead of 3.

Despite never having been there nor knowing anyone who has, I've been obsessed with the idea of moving to San Diego for like a year now.

I've never been to SD either, but I do have a couple of friends currently living in the area.

NYC is compelling because it's close to home, but still far enough away (if that makes sense).

I think proximity to family and friends is a bad reason. Only go to NYC if you're into the big city and all that comes with it

Yeah. I live in Orlando and most of my family is in Clearwater, about 2 hours away. Close enough where I can visit when I feel like it, but far enough to where I'm not expected to, and don't get the "we were in the neighborhood and figured we'd drop by".

I've been to NYC once. I enjoyed it, but the cliche "a nice place to visit but wouldn't want to live there" applies for me personally. Plus, I despise cold weather. YMMV

Yah good point. I think I'd be happy either way. And there's a good chance I won't get offered either anyway so it's probably not even worth thinking about.

I'd actually be happy to stay in Seattle too. Just been weighing the options in case something works out. There were 12 openings all over the country for this program. I put in my resume for four of them and have only heard back from the hiring manager of the SD and NYC spots.
