Is it really such a bad thing to be realistic and realize that odds are you aren't going to change the world? Or is it messed up to squash someone's dreams?

I do not know why I am up this late or why I am posting this semi existentialistic stuff.

I had a dream last night that things were getting tense between Housh and I and things were going to fall out. Something about him borrowing all of my shirts and ties without asking.

Fortunately (?) I don't remember my dreams all that often, but it's been pretty unsettling the couple times that BSG has crept in
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I dunno. Sometimes, a C student tells me he or she wants to be a college professor, and I have to tell them that's probably not a good career path. But it's not like your students are really listening to you anyway.

I do think it's worth telling your more idealistic change the world students that they should consider they are most likely to have an impact if they focus on problems in their own backyard. If you want to make a difference, as they say, you're most likely to make a difference one person at a time.

I've always liked the idea of having the jersey of an out-of-town player but I've never found anyone I like enough.

I've read that book. Some of the shit in there actually works, even for a guy like me. Most of it is just telling guys to be more confident, take risks, be outlandish to get attention and don't be afraid to fail. Really, shit every guy knows anyway.

I actually read the entire Google books preview last night. I just finished reading his newest book, "Emergency" so maybe I'll pick it up. Pretty interesting/crazy stuff

I don't think I'm gonna read any of the words but those profiles of babes on the cover are making me sexist. One of them is like tied up to the ceiling and then her ankles together?
