Wearability isn't a goal, or a claim made, of the work presented at high fashion shows.
At the kinds of fashion shows that get the most publicity and tv air time, the designers are competing against each other within a pretty specialized format - understanding a high fashion show is kind of like understanding a NASCAR event, you have to be into it and know the players to care - for jobs designing more pedestrian clothes that you would probably like more.
There are plenty of fashion shows where uniforms and sportswear are shown off, but they happen at closed industry events and conferences instead of on E! or whatever.

I had mine on an English Muffin, which is my preference. Kaiser roll after that, but then you need to use at least two eggs and lots 'o porkroll and more cheese. On second thought, maybe that's my preference.
