I don't know whether to be sad or mad or glad when I talk to my high school kids about their future. So many of them think they are going to have this job that they just absolutely love and are going to change the world. It just is not true. I mean I like teaching and hate it sometimes but is it the most awesome thing in the world? Probably not.
