I miss this place, but with my laptop currently out of commission I cannot watch games and post at the same time. For the last five days, on balance, that's been a good thing.

I love my new job for the pay but working 12 hour nightshifts is craziness. I am losing track of days and I am generally going insane. Got home at eight and feel like it's drinking time but it is really sleeping time. I'll switch to days starting next month.

Easiest job in the world though and it is nice working only 3 days a week and then 4. Still 84 hours in a two week period and good for a little overtime. It's already looking solid but it could really be good a few years down the road if all breaks well and I don't do something stupid.
Do it again!

I worked those hours for about a year. Having a four day "weekend" was nice, but I felt like I lost most of one of those days getting re-acclimated to daytime hours and then getting ready to stay up all night every week.

In the old days, you had TV, with maybe 6 or 7 channels. And you'd say, "there's nothing on" and no one had any reason to disagree. Then came cable, and you had 50, 100, 200, channels. And still, there were lots of times when you'd say, "there's nothing on" and you know, it'd be true. Now, we have the interwebs, with millions, billions of pages, videos, music. And yet when this board dies like it seems to right now, I have that feeling like I have when "there's nothing on."

Yes. Turks and Caicos.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

I thought I was going to leave for home an hour ago, and here I am still dicking around online, packing things slowly, steadfastly ignoring work or other important tasks.

And by the time I do get back to the nonshore abode, I'll just start looking for the WC qualifiers online. So chalk Wednesday up to the loss column.

Its like when a woman looks in her closet and complains that she has nothing to wear when there are more than 200 items of clothing hanging in front of her.

UFL--a ticket to NY Sentinels game lists at $60. Is it just me, or is that about 3x as much as you would pay?

Of all the recent attempts to start a new league, I thought the AAFL was the best concept--drafting territories, identify with nearby popular college programs, play in areas not currently capture by the NFL.

But what these leagues should learn from the success of so many crappy "professional" baseball leagues and teams is that you've got to keep prices low. People will go see the Jersey Jackals play a baseball game, because it costs $8.

TV, not only are they almost the same as the face value of an NFL ticket, but the 4 coaches are probably the biggest names in that league.

California Redwoods = Dennis Green, Obafemi Ayanbadejo, Eddie Moten, Larry Brackins
Florida Tuskers = Jim Haslett, Koren Robinson, Tatum Bell, Rob Petitti
Las Vegas Locomotives = Jim Fassel, JP Losman, Tim Rattay, Teddy Lehman, Tab Perry, Wendell Bryant, Adam Bergen, Martin Bibla
New York Sentinels = Ted Cottrell, Quinn Gray, LaBrandon Toefield, Cecil Sapp
