I think Robert Smith is probably my favorite ESPN personality now.

I met a Phils fan at the BrewFest the other day and I don't know exactly how, but he mentioned Cooperstown. So my friends and I added a trip to the Hall of Fame as a last-minute excursion this weekend. Books will be written about this weekend.

Personally, I think Cooperstown requires a full weekend. I spent one day there and still didn't get to experience everything there was to experience.

I wish I had woody's design sensibility. This document looks dryer than my tongue after a 1-0 victory over holland. No one would volunteer to help out a race if they read this shite.

I think it requires a full weekend because it's in the middle of goddamn nowhere.

A few weeks ago spent a few hours in Cooperstown on the way to another destination. It's a pretty nice little town, I was impressed. It definitely looks the all American town main street you see in movies. Based on impressions from being there a few hours, it's definitely a place to head to for a weekend, not just a day.

I would've liked to have spent more time in Cooperstown, but we weren't in a very patient mood today, being completely exhausted from the whole weekend. But the few hours we were there still was worth going slightly out of our way.

Yes, I'm a child. And no, this wasn't the only thing I liked or will remember about the Hall. It was a great place full of history, history I'm actually interested in--seeing the collection of year-by-year World Series rings, for example, gave me chills, and listening to the full inning broadcast of the Shot Heard Round the World call was mesmerizing. My favorite part of the whole trip may have been giving a guy decked out in full Mets gear a shit-eating grin and a nod while standing next to the 2008 WS exhibit.

The only disappointment, for me, anyway, was the relative lack of Phils gear in the store. The place is filled to the gills with Yankees stuff, with a lot of representation for the Red Sox as well. The Mets, Cardinals and Pirates seemed to get a lot of notice, too. While the Phils had more decent apparel there than most MLB teams, I'm not really interested in a t-shirt featuring every HOFer who ever played for the Phils--including guys like Kid Nichols, who pitched 21 measly games for them at the very end of his career

I did end up getting a nice mug commemorating the 1980 WS champs. I would've gotten a 2008 one, but they were completely sold out. This mug's gonna get a lot of mileage.

Anyone ever see the Mr. Show sketch where a guy asks for quarters, and the store manager has to call corporate and each time when the person on the phone is thinking, he makes all these noises like "ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch"? Some guy is doing that right now

Today, I've seen two of the most stunningly attractive women that I've ever seen walking around Center City. When worn well, women's business dress is jaw-dropping.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
