Isn't there a really conservative group of Lutherans--the Missouri Synod? Or am I confusing denominations? Methodists are going through this as well, as I'm sure you know. And I bet there are more conservative Methodist congregations than Lutheran ones.

I have to wake up at 7:30 tomorrow. Moving is awful.

I hope to be at the Jersey shore by 4 tomorrow. Go swim in the hurricane for a bit, then watch Happ take a dump on the Mets while Gary, Keith and Ron fellate us and I get drunk with my brother. Sounds like a plan.

Yep, the conservative group is LCMS. They don't ordain women.

My suspicion is another conservative group will spring up from this, which will ordain women but essentially be marked by their stance on same-sex unions.

Dear everyone else, get a team in England to root for. Or hate. It gives one a purpose on Saturday and Sunday mornings from late August to May. (Unless you have kids or something to distract you from fake life.)

Mancs are on ESPN2 tomorrow at 10. Root against them. They're more evil than the Yanks and Sawx put together.
