I'm taking VoxJr to the game tonight. If we wanted to watch BP, what time should we get there?

Also, is there an entrance to stadium parking on Packer, or do I have to go around to Pattison?

provided they are taking BP tonight, you can watch it from ashburn alley starting at 4:30.

Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

Ug, Vox won't even be home then (to wrangle BabyVox). Oh well, the game will surely be enough from him...

He's gone from "hating baseball" (because baseball takes over the TV or radio from what he wants to watch), to practically begging to go to a game.

Just got my driver's license renewal camera card in the mail, haircut scheduled for 2:30 and it's right around the corner from the photo license center. Life is good.

My only dilemma is whether to wear the white pinstripes or the solid red for the picture.....

We had some relatives on my grandmother's side that had an old farmhouse thing, and the woman who lived there (can't remember my relation to her) said that there would be pies baked while she was sleeping and sitting on the table when she woke up.

My cousin said he had a ghost in his room, and he would get weird scratches and messed up $#@! like that.

I don't believe in ghosts, either, but that stuff is weird

Maybe some other old dude had a crush on her and made her pies. Either way, I would totally eat a ghost pie.
Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it
Why not get a plumbing license and run around high on shrooms stealing peoples' pocket change

If you're gonna have a ghost, that's the kind to have.

Person 1: We have a ghost in the house that walks around all night slamming doors.

Person 2: Mine stands next to the bed, scaring the bejeebuz out of me.

Person 3: Mine bakes me pies.

Ghost Pie would be an awesome band name.
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I always wondered if the ghost had to go shopping all the time, or if the woman kept getting ingredients

Oh my lord.....so this whole problem with my getting through this background check with the apartment complex was the result of the lady SPELLING MY NAME WRONG to consumer reports. It came back rejected as if I was using an alias.

Ok, not so bad other than the stress and hassle it put me through. Except.....to speed up the process I sent them my MDJReport showing my summons for underage drinking that got reduced to summary disorderly conduct....now they have this record that they never would have seen in the first place if the lady was competent. If I just shot myself in the foot with this, I may go into the Francouer position and cry.

That happened to me before. My last name is Baer, which isn't exactly an uncommon last name; however, people for some reason always default to Bear. I forget the reason why, but someone was bringing up my credit report and spelled my name wrong and the William Baer they had looked up had all kinds of crap attached to his name, none of which sounded even vaguely familiar to me.

Then, when I notified them of their mistake ("did you spell it Bear, not Baer?") they brought up my late father's credit report. We have the same name (I'm a junior), and he used to own his own business so of course his credit was shot, so that caused yet another headache.

Overall, that took about three weeks or a month to clear up. I badly wanted to gouge my eyeballs out but here I am today, with both eyes intact.

The thought of ripping my face off has been going through my head since Monday. One of the worst experiences of my life. I'm going to have to restrain myself from screaming at this lady once I see her. The mistake is forgivable, the smugness and condescension throughout has been intolerable.

The excitement of arriving at the beach is dampened considerably by it being shitty as hell out.
