I guess this could be construed as "reverse-racist," but it's also an easily defensible conclusion based on data. IIRC, black defendants tend to have worse outcomes across the board.

Particularly when the victim is white.

There wasn't much evidence Kobe committed a crime, was there?

Kobe had to buy his wife a big ring. That's expensive.

Reminds me of the time I wrote my Congressman. Same thing. What ends up happening is that the secretaries spend two hours a day shredding letters like that.

When you write you congressman, interns open the mail and sort it. Then staffers and/or interns mail you prewritten responses (written by staff of course, not the congressman). Then the member of the staff who has the member's signature down the best has to sign them all. But at least your mail gets a check mark on a pad if it's a big issue and they're keeping track.

I don't know 1/100th about Bruce compared to Bucky, but I really love playing Springsteen the whole day before I come home.

Let's pretend I'm retarded. Shouldn't be much of a reach.

Does the 8/30/07 game thread exist?

 Yeah (but no I don't really believe in ghosts)

One day I was working from home and the boom box radio in my basement turned on somehow. I couldn't figure out how it happened -- it's like a big switch you have to flick to turn on, and at the time no one had touched it in months. It's not like the cat could have accidentally done it (it was also up too high for him to get too).

The weird thing was that most of the afternoon I heard faint music coming from somewhere, but assumed it was coming from my neighbor's townhouse. It was hours before I realized it was coming from the basement

Pretty freaky

My grandparents also owned a really old farm house (like the original part was built in the 1780's) where some crazy shit was always going down
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

i wonder how many random thoughts threads there are now
Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it
Why not get a plumbing license and run around high on shrooms stealing peoples' pocket change

Ha, ok, I don't know why I thought about it today, but I was driving in to work and it popped into my head.

We had some relatives on my grandmother's side that had an old farmhouse thing, and the woman who lived there (can't remember my relation to her) said that there would be pies baked while she was sleeping and sitting on the table when she woke up.

My cousin said he had a ghost in his room, and he would get weird scratches and messed up shit like that.

I don't believe in ghosts, either, but that stuff is weird
