I'm drunk. I turn 29 today, I'm unemployed for the first time since I was 14. what the fuck. seriously what the fuck.

If I don't find a job this week I think I'm going to take off on the AT for a little while, I really don't know what to do with myself. Maybe getting all hippie and shit with myself will bring me back to where I need to be. Or maybe I just need to take this job in Alaska. I don't know...

Savannah was weird today. Lots of people, lots of drunk people, tons of police, and a lot of fireworks (gunshots?). I don't know if I've ever been so nervous walking home at night. It didn't help that I didn't stop for a drink on the way. I was just crazy paranoid the whole way home.

I wonder if 29 is worse than 30. By the time you turn 30, you've had your entire 29th year to prepare for it. When you turn 29, you immediately see how close you are to 30, and I think it really fucks with you. At least it did for me. I had to call everything off and move south. It was the only thing to do.
