No, the actual store which none of my friends actually have ever seemed to go into. Everyone is always like "yo dude let's go to Shady Maple zOMG." And I just say no. I don't really get the love for the smorgasbord. I'm not sure anyone actually knows there's a store next to the giant restaurant.

Hat Guy, the focus of much FJM critcism, has been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma. Tremendously sad. I hate reading stories about cancer diagnoses, they never fail to give me the creeps.

When I had mine out, I took the percocets, slept, and used a surgical glove filled with water and frozen in the freezer as an ice pack. Just fill it with water and tie it shut. It freezes in the shape of a cupped hand and matches the contour of your face pretty well.

So I got that job offer I was waiting for. It wasn't for Phoenix yet, but in Bethlehem, then possible transfer at the end of summer. I was all set to start Monday at 9:30. They called me at 4:30 today and said they were canceling it, there was a group of people and they decided to put the whole project on hold for the time being. I quit my fucking job on Wednesday, I waited until the last minute just to make sure all the references and everything passed and all was set and then they yank this out from under me, WTF? I don't have a job now. How can they do this? I can't even get unemployment now since I quit, right? WTF. They recruited ME. This is so assed up.

It's not like this is a small company either, it's one of, if not the largest banks in the country. They are a bunch of fucking cunt assholes.

I'm considering doing this with the new job, going to the office at 9AM and having a conversation with the people there. I just have to be careful, because they still may offer the job in a week or 2, but I need to know something now.

How do you call someone at 4:30 the day before they start a job and tell them nope, you aren't starting now, it's been put on hold.
