I am not joking when I say I just made my mom the best card ever. I think I included everything she loves in it. It is a printed collage but even I can't believe how cool it looks. I don't know that she'll like a nittany lion head as the center piece but I was just out all night and I assembled a masterpiece of a card.

He's starting at noon. I think his goal is to do it over 12 hours.

He lives in Conshohocken, so the roommate and I will be keeping tabs with hourly updates over the phone. He's doing it at my roommate's parents house I think so they'll make sure he doesn't die, and one of his high school friends is trustworthy as to whether or not he has puked, and as I mentioned above, he's calling us hourly with updates. I tried to drink 30 in a night in college, and failed by half a beer. Damn passing out. I honestly probably succeeded in the endeavor a few times by accident, including my 21st birthday, but I wasn't actually counting.

Anyway hopefully he hurls 15 beers in by the time the Phils close out the game tomorrow.

Every alcohol poisoning incident I ever heard of involved liquor. You just can't drink that much beer fast enough.

Isn't 30 beers the equivalent of 30 shots? In any event, while I understand getting good and ripped, I don't understand the point of drinking 30 beers just to drink 30 beers.

Screw the alcohol, I just don't think I could even manage drinking that much liquid.

In attempting to keep my promise to baseba'al, I signed up for a 5k race. It's in a week. My longest run so far was about 4k, which felt pretty good. I'm hoping that adrenaline keeps me from finishing in some position other than last.
