I've never been much for repeat performances. I even remember a few times when I was younger thinking, "I've got so much time to kill, I'm gonna do it twice!" but after the first time, you know, fuck it. Watch some tv or something.

I eagerly await the Kid's defense. Although I don't know if I'm hoping for or fearful of his inevitable expert witness' testimony via redtube.

Morningstar brand Original Sausage Patties in your grocer's freezer section

I have two patties and string cheese, that's good clean snacking right there

I can't find that moving thread. Is Dallas really as terrible as everyone tends to say? I have a bizarre move-to-Denton offer and am considering it a bit, just for the sake a jolt to my life. Is the whole "move somewhere just because/fuck up your life on a lark" thing overrated anyway? Rent would be super cheap and I'd be living with awesome people, but in Denton, Texas.

I lived kinda near Dallas for a fairly long time. I don't care much for it but it is a big city and it has some nice things going for it. One thing, it gets hot there -- like Africa hot.

I think you are at an age in which you could make a very good thing out of living in many different places. The super cheap rent is a very good thing and if the folks you live with are (and remain) awesome, that's a very good thing.

I'm a pretty big believer in trying lots of different stuff out while you're young if you can. At a certain age, many -- maybe most folks want to settle down and get some of that stability in their life. I know it happened to me. But when your young experiencing different locales and cultures is a good thing. (Texas is a world all of it's own).

They call the Dallas Ft. Worth area the Metrroplex and they ain't kidding. It's really dense and they drive crazy down there too. I don't think anyone walks anywhere. The other Texas cities are pretty easy to get to and are fun -- Austin, San Antone and Houston. Good long weekend trips.

You can canoe down the river of death some weekend too. Good times that.

Housh, there are other things to consider of course, but I'd encourage you to go for it based on the info you've provided.

If you've lived in one place/region for your entire life, I think moving somewhere else for a year or so really goes a long way to showing that the lifestyle you're accustomed to isn't necessarily normative. It can make you 1. Appreciate what you currently have when you do move back; 2. Give you the perspective to appreciate different modes of thought.

If you're not tied down here, I'd do it.
