I am a moron and had a sub job with one service that I forgot about. So I took another sub job through another service and showed up at that one today. So yeah I totally bailed on the other one which is a complete knuckle head mistake on my part.

I emailed the teacher and sub service and apologized. I hope I didn't burn any bridges.

When I was a kid, we were renting a house that had oil heat, and the furnace broke, or they didn't deliver oil, or something like that. It was Christmas vacation or Presidents Day (I was home from school). I spent all day in layers of clothes in a sleeping bag to keep warm. I think it took like a day and a half to get remedied.

My Phillies calendar trivia question was wrong today (confused Robin Roberts' # with Jim Bunning's #). Now I feel like I have to double check all their answers.

You mean the wawa right next to princeton train station? I had no idea they were serious with those meters. I thought that was just sort of a big joke. Wow, and a 35 dollar ticket? yikes.

Why is there a brand of butter called "Hotel Bar"? There's nothing either logical or particularly positive about that association, hotel bars being at best neutral places by and large.

My office is freezing cold this morning. Its like after the warm spell they decided to turn off the heat and never turned it back on once it got cold again.

I've wondered about Chock Full o' Nuts coffee, too. I could see if it was infused with hazelnut flavoring, but as near as I can tell it's just regular ol' coffee.

Maybe there's an X-rated origin to the name...

You think this was an accident, but consider the fact that drsmooth happens to be a well connected individual

The heat has been off for a couple days I think. I didn't realize the problem was with the heater, because I had just fiddled with the programmable thermostat. The house hasn't gone below 64-ish, so it hasn't been bad.

The last episode of South Park was awesome. It's called margarittaville, and it's about the economic crisis. http://www.southparkstudios.com/
