Damn. That sucks man. Hope he's alright.

To think, 12 hours ago you were wondering if it was too early to think about getting drunk.

I remember when by little brother was younger, he had this wooden horse thing that had wheels on it, and he was standing on it, and did the wipe out, split chin open thing. My parents were overprotective for a while. When they let up, he started getting naked in New York. Be warned.

If it's any consolation, a cool scar will help him in attracting a certain subset of the female population in the future. Tomorrow you two ought to start working on a cool back story to how it happened.

I really, REALLY know where you're coming from, and it sucks. I'm glad everything is okay.

Calling Brian Dawkins cheap/dirty is like the n word. Only Eagles fans are apparently allowed to do it.

Otherwise dajafi will get salty atcha.

You just don't understand. Brian Dawkins is the Chase Utley of the Eagles. When Chase has been a Phillie for 13 years, we'll see how you react if a Mets fan picks out a valid minor fault of his.

I dunno. I think it would be like a Mets fan saying, that Utley, he never did get out of the way of pitches thrown at him.

That Strahan, he sure did have an ugly gap tooth, and his sack record is a fraud cause Favre fell for him.

That Brodeur is completely overrated because the trap padded his stats all those years.

That Mickelson has cost himself more tournaments and majors than he can count due to his reckless play and poor decision making.

Etc.

it doesn't apply with Mickelson, but imagine those players all were attainable by their current teams and instead signed with another team. then a Mets fan starts bringing these things up, the day he signs. it's more a timing thing, like if a friend made a joke about a drunk father the day he checked into rehab. the joke used to be kosher, but today, it's a sore subject.

if you think about it too much, it's not going to last
but if you don't try to keep it going, it won't last, either.

the bottom line: do it for the love of the game, not for the love of the streak

i think mila kunis is announcing swimming at the big ten championships.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

If this snowstorm delays my getting to Clearwater, I'm going to lose my mind. Old man winter refuses to release me from his morbid grip.

Come on. You absolutely knew that was a dickish thing to do. Like walking into a wake and saying, "All due respect, that guy farted a lot." And you did it to get a rise out of people--as you often do in Eagles threads. Not classy.

Well yes. Plenty of things on this board aren't classy though. A number of folks are doing a happy dance on Santana's elbow falling apart this morning.

As I said one earlier time when you did this, it's not cool to shit on your friends. If there were a lot of people here bent out of shape over Santana's elbow tendon turning into overcooked pasta, happiness about that would be a problem.

Whatever. You know what you did, I registered my objection, and you know I think you're a pretty good guy for a Republican. Do with it what you will.

I never got what was so shameful about it, unless 1) you're cheating or 2) it would be deeply embarrassing were it to become public knowledge. If it's only post-coital hangover, that's part of growing up. A part I wish I'd had a lot more of, honestly.
