Well that's fine I guess. All of my friends from high school are Eagles fans. They give me shit about the Giants. I give them crap about the Eagles. We aren't particularly nice about it, but it's not like any harm is meant by it either.

That was one of the more interesting things from when I lived in DC. It was infuriating to drive home at five miles an hour just because a little snow was on the ground, but also fucking hilarious how freaked out the locals got, especially if I wasn't in a hurry. Given that nobody's really from there, though, you'd figure that enough people knew what real winter weather was to keep their heads. That part I never got.

I don't want to bring the Steelers up in the Eagles thread but the non re-signing of B-Dawk is a lot like the moves the Steelers have made over the last 20 years or so. Let the hometown hero walk and while it blows to lose a favorite in the end it usually ends up being a smart business decision. I think the Eagles are a smart org. and it will probably end up being a good thing that they parted ways in the manner they did. B-Dawk still gets his money and they don't actually have to stick the knife in his heart themselves.
